Abortion is a hot topic of conversation full of different views from different lifestyles. Either way it is placed into two different categories. Should it be legal or illegal for girls to have an abortion?
There is a question that pops in my head when I think about should it be illegal or not. Were they raped or not? How old were they? I personally do not believe that abortion should be legal because it shows irresponsibility in the girl who gets pregnant. If you don’t want a baby, don’t have sex or use protection! There is a problem because if you were raped then you do not bear the responsibility. You did not want it therefore you should not have to bear it. If they are raped and they are still very young then the child would not be able to bear the pressure or pain of giving birth. In the United States of America, we may be able to choose whether we want abortion to be legal or not. Most of the irresponsible will choose to have it legal so they do not have to bear the responsibility but what did the baby ever do to her. That child inside her belly is still a life and you are taking a life by having an abortion. Why have an abortion when there is adoption to take care of that or you could just not have sex and play it safe until you are able to take care of yourself and an extra life.
I agree with you 99.5 percent! The only thing I don't agree with is about the rape. That baby didn't rape you and still deserves to live. It's still YOUR baby and still has YOUR DNA in it. It's still YOUR child. You could look at it as healing. Show everybody that you can make it through being raped. Even if you can't keep the baby, then put it up for adoption. There are plenty of deserving families out there that would welcome the baby with open arms. If you went through with the abortion then you not only would have to live with being raped, but you would also have to live with basically murdering your child.
